Replacing Trees

Your favorite tree gave you shade, protected your home from wind, welcomed climbing children and beautified your property. Now it's gone.

McClure's Tree Service will help you replace it with a native tree that will bring you lasting pleasure. We specialize in oak, ash, beech, hemlock and white pine.

McClure Tree Service will:
  • Help you choose a tree
  • Dig a hole to the right depth and size for the new tree
  • Add loam and fertilizer
  • Stake the tree if needed
  • Wrap the base of the tree to protect it against animal damage

Trees are sensitive. If the hole is too deep or the fertilizer is wrong, if small animals chew too much of the bark or deer break off too many branches, your tree may die. McClure's Tree Service gives your tree the care it needs to grow strong.

Q. I LOVE SPRUCE. IS THIS A GOOD TREE TO PLANT?

A. Unfortunately, spruce trees are suffering from the warming climate. They are dying off. We recommend native trees that adapt better to warming temperatures, like ash, beech, hemlock, oak and white pine.

24 HOUR EMERGENCY SERVICE

“We’ve been working with Joey and his crew at McClure’s Tree Service for five years and plan to stick with them moving forward. Joey has been responsive, fair, and diligent in attending to our tree work at the campground. As a small business owner, we appreciate the strong work ethic exhibited by his entire crew.. Josh and Jesse in particular. They are courteous and caring of the work they do and always willing to answer dumb questions and go the extra mile. When they leave, it’s like they were never here – except for the stump.”
